Could AI write your book?

Yeah probably.

Could it steal my job?

Very likely.

Am I worried?

Yes.

But there’s one thing it won’t ever replace and that is human connection.

I was listening to a podcast featuring Mo Gawdat as he was discussing the rise of AI and what it could mean for the world. And while what he said was pretty bleak, the one thing he did say was that **people will always crave connection to another human being.**

In a world thats getting harder and harder to find human connection, where social media and apps and AI are replacing regular human face to face connection …

… nothing beats that moment you recognise that you aren’t alone in this crazy world.

Human connection lasts.

It matters.

And the best thing about writing a book is finding those human moments, putting them into words and knowing that when it gets into the hands of the reader, they won’t feel so alone.

That’s a pretty nice feeling.
