Ghostwriting Services
For Business Books and Memoirs
Ghostwriting? Who needs it?
You do.
You’ve got expertise worth sharing. A story that needs to be told. Maybe years of lessons that could help others or build your legacy.
But you don’t have time to write it. Or you don’t want to. And that’s fine.
Working with a ghostwriter gives you the book without the months of sitting at a laptop trying to figure out how to structure 60,000 words.
My clients are all authors who are high-performers who needed to prioritise their time and energy. That’s why choosing a ghostwriter was the ideal partnership to bring their story to their readers.
The Ghostwriting Process
Before doing any ghostwriting, I recommend taking my Ideation & Focus Workshops.
Two 90-minute workshop sessions to explore your ideas and bring your book into sharp focus. It’s a low-risk investment that gives you a taster of what it’s like to work with me and what it’d be like to write your book.
After the workshops, if you’d like to work with me as your ghostwriter, we build on the initial work and continue to clarify your positioning, structure the book, and build the foundations. Expect ongoing collaborative writing through structured interviews and open conversation, helping me to draft in your voice and structure a book that works for you. With ongoing feedback and collaboration, you keep ownership of your story.
We finish with time to refine and polish, with up to three rounds of feedback, to ensure it’s ready for handover to your proofreader or publisher.
Most books take 6-10 months and costs between £35,000-£75,000 depending on scope and timeline.
Why ghostwriting?
You’re not in a position to write.
You have a business to run, or a personal situation, which means you won’t have the time to write. I’ve had clients who have ADD or dyslexia, and they knew that without a ghostwriter, the book would never get done.
You’re not a writer (and don’t want to be).
You’re brilliant at what you do and the thought of learning how to write fills you with dread. You’d rather spend that time with family, travelling or doing whatever it is you love! But you still need that book written …
You want a book that delivers.
You want to be confident that the book positions you properly, engages readers, and delivers on your goals whether that’s credibility, business growth, or legacy. You could do it yourself, but you’d much rather hire an expert.
